Easter on Apree 4 (My Birthday!)

We had quite an eventful Easter Holiday at the Styers. It started out with decorating Easter Eggs on Saturday afternoon while we watched/listened to General Conference.

Tank wanted to join...but he was a little muddy from playing outside.

The next day which was actually Easter, started off with searching for our Easter baskets which Devin and Lane had the enjoyment of hiding. Rather than waking up and getting your basket, you must search for it in the most unimaginable places... Like for instance, Rhea's was in the trash, underneath the trash bag. Here are some of the other hiding places...

Mine was in this black sleeping bag bag.

And this...was Dillon's. It is a skylight window in the bathroom. Devin and Lane got a ladder, put a nail in the wall, and hung his basket up there.

Devin also put on an Easter Egg hunt for all of us later in the day. The grand prize was a $10 bill in one of the eggs, which Kyla found.

Another highlight of the day, is that the results for our NCAA bracket competition were turned in, and the winner was...

RHEA!

She won the prize money. Lucky duck.









And then we got to celebrate my birthday...the big 22!

Wahoo! And I got a package with many other things from my wonderful family in Utah, which included this movie:

Which I love!! I highly recommend it!

It was a great birthday :) Thank you everyone for making it wonderful! 

PS When I was little I used to say my birthday was on Apree 4, hence the title :)
