being in Alaska, your sense of day time/night time can get a little skew. I took a few pictures, and I want you to guess what time you think it is. Then to see the correct answer, click on the link below the picture. What's your guess?

COOKIE TIME!
One day as I was blog searching, I came across this way cool idea to make bowls out of cookie dough. Basically, you spread the cookie dough out over the bottom of a muffin tin, and bake it that way. We attempted it last Sunday, and here are pictures of before and after the oven.
Then after the cookies come out, you can have a scoop of ice cream inside them, with some hot fudge and caramel! I must say that it didn't turn out as good as I was hoping. I would prefer a soft cookie with ice cream, rather than a crunchy one. But if you want to give it a try, you can see better pictures, and the full demonstration here:

Tank Time!
I thought I would give a little Tank update. Because he amuses me so much, I always have plenty of pictures of him.
First of all, one of the most common places we see Tank these days, is at the top of the driveway waiting for someone to get home. As soon as he hears a car coming down the road, he runs to his "spot" and waits...
Then when you open the door, he'll be right there to greet you.
The other day we ventured out to Fish Creek to take Tank for a little dip. He loves the water! As soon as he saw where we were, he took off running to jump in. And if you throw a stick out there, he's not going to come back until he gets it...
This was the other day. It was SUPER nice outside, so Devin took Tank out in the yard and hit balls into the woods for Tank to go find. Just like with the sticks, even if it took him awhile to find the ball, he was going to get it, and bring it back.
This is Tank after a long day of hard work...

Lake Time!
Kyla is house sitting for some people that she knows until mid-July, and they live on a lake...So the other day, Rhea, Micah, and I took full advantage of this. They have such a cute house and a beautiful view. The lake felt so nice on a warm day! Don't worry, Tank came along to visit this water atmosphere too...
Tank enjoying the air out the car window.
We plan on making many more trips to the lake.
