Itching for Summer

It probably appears that I have blog background A.D.D. I change the look of my blog quite often, but I think one of the reasons is because I like it to relate to the current post. Today was another day that I can't wait for the constant light, the warm sun, the green grass-I guess you could say that I am itching for summer. I thought that this background gave off that feel while still keeping the "neutral color" of blue, for the upcoming B.B.S. posts.

Today Devin and I went outside, and enjoyed the cloudy, yet warm weather. We played a little catch with the football, and then shot some hoops in our Crocs.

It was so nice to be outside!

Other things that give the summer feel:

-The smell of corn on the cob

-The smell of cut grass and the lawn mower

-Looooooonnnnnnger days

-Eating Grilled Hot Dogs (did that last night)

-The smell of the BBQ

-Trampoline

-The sun

-Sun burned faces

-Watermelon (hence the clock in the top righthand corner)

-Playing out in the yard

-I'm sure I could fill the page with things...

Everyone I talk to says, "There isn't a better place to be in the summer than Alaska." Summers here are supposedly better than anywhere else :)

Devin did ask me yesterday though what I miss about Utah...

I said my family, Cafe Rio, and having the temple so close and accessible (even though it's not too far here at all). Besides those things, I am pretty pumped to be spending my summer up here!
