Needless to say, the trip was superb. Baley picked me up from the airport (she being the only one that knew I was coming back to Utah for this short visit) and then took me to my house (after a quick stop for McDonald's smoothies). All the doors were locked...of course! My mom, dad, and brother Travis were gone, so the only ones home were Zach, Rhett, Kyle, and Timm. Here is a little clip summarizing the experience: (Timm's face is the best).
Sadly I don't have a video of waking up Rhett (ran out of memory) or when I saw my mom, dad, and Travis. But they were all equally surprised. The day that I got into town, I drove with Kyle and Timm to my mom's girls camp two hours away. Luckily we found it, and got there at just the right time, because my mom was eating lunch. The stake Young Women's president went in the tent to get her, and she came out of the tent to see...me! Haha. She gasped and then we both started crying and hugged for a long time. It was great!
It was a pretty great weekend! Here are some pictures to sum it up.
Some of what I got to visit: Smash Burger (new favorite), Cafe Rio (always a favorite), Danny's pool, family, friends, Wingers, the sounds of the Carrie Underwood concert a few blocks away, and...that about sums it up!
