Well, it may be time for me to start blogging again. I have been absent from the blogging world for quite some time, and you may be wondering, "Where has Brooke gone?"
Well, let me tell you.
Really, I have been up to some good things...I was blessed to have some wonderful opportunities!
1. One such opportunity, was that I got to do the designing for Wasilla's "Why Not Tri" Triathlon. This was such a fun thing for me to be apart of. There was both an adult and a kids race, so I got to do all the logos and flyers for both. The best part was that some of my family happened to be in Alaska at the same time that the race took place! So we got to participate, and we all got shirts with the logo I designed! It was pretty cool.

2. I also got to be involved with the Alaska LDS Scout Encampment that involved all of Alaska and some of Canada. There were over 800 scouts that participated, and 200 adults. This was a BIG EVENT. I got to do the designing for this, and design my first website for all the Encampment Participants. It was a very time consuming, yet very rewarding task. There were many hours that went into this (ask Devin), but it was such a great experience. So many great things came of this.

As part of the Encampment we got to meet some cool people! (Michael McLean, Hank Smith and his wife, Brad Wilcox and his son and daughter-in law). It was a spiritual feast!! It was a very cool experience to learn from these people first-hand.
Well this is where I have been putting my time for the 1st half of 2012... many more posts to come about what our summer has been like this year, and what we are looking forward to in the months to come!
