Earth DAY, BirthDAY, Good DAY

First I would like to note that the background is not changed on the blog because of Earth DAY. Nor is it because we are "going green." It is mainly to make the blog not look so girly/cutsie, and to instead make it a little more neutral. This is due to upcoming posts that have a lot to do with what the boys have been doing around here. I'll give you a clue-it involves bears. Some of you know what I am talking about, but we will get into that on the next post.

But, back to the DAYS we've been having around here. First off Earth DAY. This is chronologically out of order, but I will explain why later. Earth DAY was April 22. The only thing that I would like to mention about this day is how Tara put it. "It's Earth DAY but we can't even see the Earth!!" Why? Because we are in Alaska, and of course, it was snowing. HUGE flakes.

Well, what other kinds of DAYS have we been having around here? For one, Dillon had a bad hair DAY. In the middle of cutting his own hair, he decided to leave some of it long. It didn't last too long though...

And next, Devin had a BirthDAY. This is actually where the chronological timeline comes in. Devin's birthDAY was actually April 21st, but we celebrated it with the family on the 22nd due to work schedules. But what a happy DAY it was to get to celebrate Devin's life :)

Devin got a Simms shirt from Bret and Britta so he was pretty excited!

We wrapped most of his presents in popcorn boxes to try and disguise what they were because Devin is really good at guessing...

These are to represent the cinnamon twists you buy at Taco Bell-one of Devin's favorites. 

And of course, Dr. Pepper pajama pants :) 

Next we had a craft DAY! Micah, Rhea, Britta and I decided that while the boys were away (doing what I mentioned at the top) we would do something fun too. We got our inspiration from Baley-for Christmas she gave me some cute headbands/accessories, so we decided to try and copy her, and make our own!

Some of our finished products. Micah had already gone to bed at this point, but hers was way cute! I will try and get a picture of it to put up here soon.

On SaturDAY we also had a little bit of a spring cleaning DAY. We finally had a little bit of some sunny weather, so we went outside and did a little cleaning!

Well, lately as you can tell, we've had some pretty good DAYS!
