I wouldn't necessarily say that work keeps my energy level running. Usually at the end of the day, I come home pretty tired, as almost all workers do. However, work does keep us running financially, for which we are grateful.
Devin got a job working with Volunteers of America, helping kids that have addiction problems. He drives to Eagle River every day, which is about an hour away from Big Lake, so he is now a "commuter" as we like to call it.
I am now officially a Fred Meyer cashier, so that has been fun. All I can say is that it's definitely a lot busier than working at Day's. That can be expected because of how large of a store it is.
One of the things that I see at work, is this truck among the employee cars. I had to take a picture, because this dog is always in the front seat. I thought he looked like a polar bear! :) Seeing him face to face would definitely send me runnin!
singing...
Last week we got to go to Micah's choir concert, and it was so great!! Beautiful music definitely keeps your spirits up, and keeps your spirits "running." Micah is always singing around the house, and she gets a hard time from her brothers, but I love it because she has such a beautiful voice! At her recent concert, they did the sign language for the song, "Imagine." That was my favorite part! We are excited to go see her play that is coming up soon.
So you are aware, Devin took this picture and I thought he was taking it of Micah. But he was amused by her friend Russell in the front row, and so that is why the picture is more focused on him. Haha
Not to mention singing, but Kyla had a little fun with it the other day as well!
Practicing for the talent show tomorrow night :)
beauty helps...
This last week I got to go get my hair done, which is always a nice thing that can keep your self esteem running. It was cool because the name of the place was "Brooke's Hair Salon." Cute little place with only two hair dressers-Brooke and Meghann. Meghann did mine, and did a fabulous job! I added a little more brown in this time, because it is actually the color that my hair is turning as each year passes by.
The pictures are hard to see, but they help you kind of get an idea.
sundays...
Sunday is always such a nice and refreshing day, and it definitely keeps me running every week. Devin and I spoke this last Sunday as "new members" of the Willow Ward (even though Devin is not new), so that was good. The dinners and family time are also a great Sunday plus!
Here is a video of everyone enjoying everyone's company, and also being kept amused by Easton :) (Below) Easton eats an apple and doesn't like the skin.
kids...
Haha on the same note, kids will definitely always keep you running. I know Britta keeps busy with Easton because he loves to explore things. One of his favorite things is to put on everyone else's shoes. Whatever shoes he finds, it will soon be on his feet.
fruit...
You may remember that awhile ago I wrote about how I love grapefruit? Well, I still do. I was so excited the other day to find that at Fred Meyer they had a grapefruit that was the size of my face. Fruit such as this, keeps my energy runnin strong! I will now post a few pictures to give you an idea of how big this grapefruit really was. However, I am sad to say that it wasn't as good as I was hoping. Maybe it's true that the smaller the better.

animals...
Sometimes animals make you start runnin' and sometimes you do it to them! Suki has been warming up to me a lot more lately. Usually she just runs away from you and hides because she is so scared. However, for some reason she happens to like me, and of course her first choice is always Tara! :) Last night though, I was shocked because she actually followed me down to our bedroom. She never goes downstairs because she is so afraid. Last night though she decided to have a little venture!

It may be really hard to see her, but she is at the bottom of the stairs, her little head is poking around the corner.

And then she made it to the bedroom! But don't worry...every little bit of noise sent her runnin!
running...
There is of course nothing that helps you keep runnin better than running itself! I am sad that I won't be in Utah for this, but May 22 is a run that my brother is putting on for his Eagle Project for our cousin Rachel Klis who was diagnosed with cancer. All the money that is raised will help go toward paying for her chemo treatments. It would be awesome for all of you that are in Utah to please take part in this great fundraiser and do a little runnin! :) If you can't run, any donations are greatly appreciated! For more information, you can visit my other blog that will keep you up to date on everything about the run! www.rachelsrunblogspot.com

Keep On Runnin' Everyone!!
